A made-to-order kit. Your figure printed in PLA Grey, split into parts, with its display base included. It ships unpainted, unassembled and unprimed.

Supports are already removed and seams are prepped before it goes in the box, so you’re not fighting the print — you glue, prime and paint.

No. The parts arrive ready to assemble. A little light sanding and gap-filling helps everything seat snugly, you glue after painting and once fully dry (super glue / CA glue works well), and you always prime before painting.

That’s genuinely the whole process. Plenty of my pieces go to people picking up a brush for the first time.

PLA Grey is a neutral, painter-friendly starting point. It primes evenly, it shows sculpted detail clearly rather than hiding it, and it reads clean on a shelf even before you’ve lifted a brush.

The product images are the sculptor’s painted concept render. Glowing flames, translucent ice, metallic armour, skin tones — all of that is paint, not plastic.

FDM printing can’t produce see-through or luminous plastic, so effects like those print solid and you bring them to life yourself. Your kit arrives raw in PLA Grey. The render shows what’s possible; the kit is your blank canvas to get there.

I’d rather tell you that here than have you open the box surprised.

At 1:4 and above, resin isn’t practical — the parts are too large to cast reliably and too brittle to survive shipping and handling at that size. FDM plus meticulous hand-finishing gets you a near-resin surface at a scale resin can’t reach.

It means the slow, unglamorous part. Every piece is sanded, filled and smoothed by hand after it comes off the printer, supports removed and seams prepped, working the surface down towards resin quality.

It’s where the hours go, and it’s the difference between a large 3D print and a centrepiece.

Being upfront: it’s handmade, so it won’t be flawless. You may find faint layer texture or a small imperfection here and there. That’s the honest nature of a large-format print finished by hand, and it’s part of what makes it a piece you complete.

Roughly quarter life-size. Most full figures land somewhere between 40cm and 50cm tall including the base — a genuine statement piece, not a desktop mini.

Every listing includes a scale comparison graphic showing the standard 1:6 collectible size next to the 1:4 you’re buying, with a ruler, so you can see exactly what you’re committing to.

Larger scales, up to 1:2, can be arranged on request.

Minimum two weeks. Everything is made to order — printing starts after your order comes through, nothing sits in a warehouse.

Large pieces can run longer. Some spend the better part of a week on the printer before hand-finishing even begins. You’ll get an estimated completion date after purchase, and that estimate doesn’t include shipping time.

It’s slower than buying off a shelf. That’s the trade I’ve chosen — I’d rather take the time and hand you something worth waiting for. Need it by a particular date? Message me before you order and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can make it.

International orders are $50 AUD per item, with discounts applied when you order more than one.

It ships split into its component parts and packed for the trip, which is both easier to assemble and far more robust in transit than a single assembled figure would be.

If anything does arrive damaged, send me a photo and I’ll sort it out.

Within 2 days of purchase. After that printing has usually started and the filament is committed.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law aren’t affected by anything on this page. If a piece is faulty, doesn’t match its description, or isn’t as promised, you’re entitled to a remedy — repair, replacement or refund depending on the problem.

I ship from Queensland, Australia. Any import duties, taxes or customs charges applied by your own country are the buyer’s responsibility and aren’t included in the price.

This is a PLA print, made for indoor display. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, heat and hot cars — PLA can soften or warp with extended sun and high temperatures over time.

Treat it as the indoor centrepiece it’s built to be and it’ll hold beautifully for years.

It’s a display collectible, not a toy. Kits contain small parts — keep away from children under 3 — and assembly involves glue and paint, so it’s an adult or supervised project.

No, and I’d never claim otherwise. These are fan-made sculpts created by independent figure studios.

I’m a licensed merchant for those studios — authorised to print and sell physical copies of their work. That’s a licence covering the sculpt, not the character, and it isn’t a licence from any film, game or anime rights-holder. I’d rather be straight with you about that than dress it up.

A handful of genuinely talented independent studios — CA3D Studios, myAnimate, Tanuki Figures and Zenith among them. Each product page credits the studio behind that particular sculpt.

I chose to work with them because I believe in the quality of their work and we share the same obsession with proper centrepiece statues.

Never. Dannoz Studios sells physical, hand-printed, hand-finished pieces only. I don’t sell, share or distribute digital or STL files for any sculpt, at any price.

That’s the deal I have with the sculptors I work with, and I take it seriously. If you want files, buy them from the sculptor directly.

1:4 is the house standard, but larger scales up to 1:2 can be arranged on most sculpts. Message me before ordering with the size you’re after and I’ll quote it.
